Color theory
In the visual arts, it is a practical guide to expressing the effect of color combinations.
There are three things to consider when combining colors:
Color
the amount of
Intensity (known as chroma).
Color: Refers to the name of a pure color.
Value: Refers to the lightness or opacity of the color and refers to the intensity of the quasi-sharpness or fading of the color.
Color combination
The three main colors: yellow, red and blue. All other colors are derived from these three colors because the grains that make up the color are not made from a combination of any other colors and all colors are a combination of three colors.
As shown below, combining primary colors together results in secondary or secondary colors.
Combining the main color – yellow, red or blue – with the secondary color orange, green or purple – in the third group of colors are the third color. After combining these colors, you can create a main color cycle that includes 12 main color groups. This creates a convenient diagram that can be used as a working tool and reference guide for combining colors and creating color palettes.
Color order in the color cycle Value: The light or opacity of a color on the color cycle.
• Yellow has the lightest color and purple has the darkest color.
Note that the colors fade as a result of the color change. Colors become lighter as you move up the color wheel, and colors darker as you move down the color wheel.
Combining colors, tonnages and shades, color is a phenomenon of light.
• No colored light.
On a white to black value scale, white is “light” and black is “dark.” Darkness is the absence of light and therefore the absence of color.
Adding white to any color or water to watercolors creates a color of that color.
Adding gray to any color creates a tonnage of that color.
Adding black to any color creates a shade of that color.
Combining white (or water) and black together in different amounts creates a variety of grays known as value scales.
When a color is combined with black, it gives a cool tonnage combination.
Warm colors and cool colors
It consists of two parts:
Warm Colors
Cool Colors
The range of colors from yellow to red is called warm color.
There are colors that are used to express happiness, energy and movement:
Conversely, the colors that contrast are the cool colors: the green to purple color spectrum
Expressing silence and calm
Of course, there are other colors as well, such as neutral colors:
White
White is reminiscent of light, goodness, innocence, purity and virginity. White is considered the perfect color.
White means security, purity and cleanliness. Unlike black and white, it reminds of positive cases. White represents a successful start. In family symbols, white means piety and faith.
Because snow is white, it is used in advertisements to show coolness and cleanliness. White can be used to show simplicity in equipment with advanced techniques. White is also suitable for charities. Angels’ clothes are usually painted white, and white is also associated with doctors, nurses, and hospitals, so white can be used to instill a sense of confidence in a drug. White is also reminiscent of dairy products.
White goes well with most colors. It is often noted that white is a bright color for the eyes and may cause headaches for some.
Black
Black is reminiscent of power, dignity, formality, death, evil and mystery.
Black is a mysterious color that is associated with fear and the unknown. Usually the burden has a negative meaning. Black represents presidency and power. It is considered a very formal and classy color and black suits or Mercedes are very common.
Black creates a sense of depth and perspective, but a black background destroys the sharpness of reading. Black clothes make you look slimmer. In designing an art exhibition or photography, you can use black to increase the effect of other colors. Black is a very contrasting light color and blends well with them. Black, along with bright colors like red or orange, creates a sense of attack. It can be said that except for very dark colors, black is in good harmony with other colors.
Black highlights other colors. Spaces look smaller in black
